Camins Tomasz Kritt Vice President Howard Caplan specializes in the brokerage of industrial and commercial buildings and land to users, investors and developers.
Howard joined William Kritt & Co. (now Camins Tomasz Kritt) in 1980 following his graduation with a bachelor’s of science in finance. Since then, Howard has become one of Chicago’s (and the immediate suburbs’) foremost brokers in its urban inner-city areas where land use may change to commercial and residential uses. Howard also owned and managed his own industrial property for over 18 years in Chicago.
With more than 25 years of experience concentrating on the urban market, Howard offers a strong knowledge of real estate economics, taxation, construction costs and environmental issues. Howard’s philosophy in serving the metro Chicago commercial real estate client is simply to work smart. He prides himself on assessing a property and pursuing the right clients for it (as opposed to waiting for the market to come to him).
